Needless to say I’m obviously not the one driving ;) ... Now I have to figure out how to get the gopro to keep on running after crossing the “finish line”... It shuts off automatically as soon as the finish line gets crossed.

The speed screws up a little during the run, but it’s normal, my phone was just laying down on the seat as I forgot my GPS suction pad in the Panhard which arrived last monday in Nagoya. Will pick it up tomorrow or so... It was also the worst time of the day to go do a video test, with the sun in my face the whole time...

And yes I need more traction in the rear, but simply being a bit “lighter” on the gas would also do the trick too :)

How does this work exactly to get the overlay set up? Is the info there just pulled from your phone GPS?

Is there a way to tie it into an OBDII reader to get info from the car?

Yes, everything through Harry’s Laptimer on my cell phone (you jave g-forces and other gadgets too but my phone was on the floor, passenger, which is why speed gets screwed and well, no gforce as it keeps moving around)... If, unlike me, you have a modern car, you can indeed get a bluetooth OBD2 module that will display shifting and RPM counter among other things (engine temps...etc)
